Taste Texas' highest-scoring coffee from the Coffee Review!
Luna Azul, meaning “blue moon,” is named for its blueberry and dark chocolate flavors, and it is our most exclusive roast yet. Luna Azul scored a 94 from the Coffee Review—our highest score and the highest-scored coffee in the state of Texas!
We directly sourced this coffee with the help of our partners at Unblended Coffee, allowing us to pay a premium over normal commercial pricing, positively impacting the farm and program.
The coffee is then expertly roasted, by our Dallas-based roasting team to highlight the desired characteristics and our quality team tastes each batch before the coffee is delivered to you.
Álvaro ‘Andrés Cardona’ Molina, who produces Luna Azul, is one of the youngest members in Unblended Coffee's Young Producer Program. He has passionately and ambitiously worked in coffee from the age of 12, continuing on into his uncle's farm, Villa Lucia, growing popular varieties like Colombia, Castillo, and Cenicafe. Experimentation, innovation, and quality are some of Andrés core values.
