This wonderful, washed Colombian coffee comes to us from El Tambo in Cauca. It is grown and produced by ASMUCAFE, an organization of woman farmers and landowners in the area. The ASMUCAFE mission is to improve families' quality of life through coffee farming by sharing resources, knowledge, and support. From origin, we pay d a premium price added on to the coffee which is used toward projects that empower women in the association. 

Coffee cherries, Castillo and Colombia varieties, are harvested, fermented for 10 hours, washed four times, then dried for 8-12 days.
